Earlier this month we took a look at what's hitting the highways next year at the LA Auto Show. In addition to the expected large displays of companies like GM, Ford, and Porsche; there was a great showcase of the British sports cars of Morgan Motor Company with their outstanding hand built sports cars. Morgan Motor Company was showing a half dozen of their cars including their high performance and extremely rare SuperSports model as well as a great example of their show stealing 3 Wheeler!
Morgan Motor Company was represented by their outstanding marquee dealership Morgan West based out of Santa Monica, California. We had the opportunity to speak with Dennis Glavis, the owner of Morgan West, about their 3 Wheeler and the 1940's airplane motif they'd customized the fun 3 Wheeler with. After sharing our unique Pin-Up Style decals for semi trucks with Dennis we knew that our smaller format decals would be perfectly suited for the Morgan 3 Wheelers and their Drivers.
As a company founded in 1910, Morgan Motor Company constantly takes their heritage into consideration as even their new sports cars exude a quality and aesthetic that could only come from Morgan. The 3 Wheeler has a rich heritage within the marquee and is a perfect balance between its heritage and its sole purpose...pure unapologetic fun! The car has a open cockpit, is low to the ground, puts out about 100 horsepower at the rear wheel and will reach 115 mph! It's power to weight to style to price ratio is exceptional, making this one of the most unique and fun vehicles on the road today. Its retro style is fun and flirty, which makes it the perfect partner for our Pin-Up Style Decals! That partnership has brought about a custom designed decal for Morgan 3 Wheelers.
Fitting perfectly on the 3 Wheeler, Morgan drivers and collectors are also applying these to their garage shop tool boxes, daily driver car rear-windows, ipads and anywhere else they can show their Morgan pride! Measuring 5" in diameter, these Pin-Up girl decals are now available to pick up for $4.99 at Morgan West

As a follow up to our previous blog article, we wanted to share about our experience at the 2012 Golden State Trucking Expo. Held at the Fairplex in Pomona, California at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds, the Expo Building was packed full with the Best of the West Show Trucks and Trucking Industry Exhibitors!
Set up at booth # 318, Big Truck Pin-Up was surrounded by some amazing trucks and very busy exhibitor booths like ESCO Industries with their Diesel Engine Parts and Toro Trucking with their Showcase Heavy Duty Wrecker!
We showcased our large format 16" diameter pin-up decals on two rotating display racks. Topping our display racks were two custom made Big Truck Pin-Up Medallions with one side featuring our large logo and the other sides showing off one of our Pin-Up designs.
Serving as the backdrop to our booth was a large 6' banner showing off our decal designs and driving traffic to our Facebook Fan Page. While we were busy with sales on both Saturday and Sunday, our most popular sticker of the day was by far the FREE 3" logo stickers that covered our booth table!!!
The pride of our weekend was at the end of the day on Saturday when a group of the Show Truck Judges came by as they loved our decals! As drivers themselves, two of the judges saw our "High Mile Club" decal series, and having driven more than 2 Million Miles themselves, they bought the "Over 2,000,000 Mile Club" large 16" decal for themselves!
We met a lot of great drivers at the Golden State Trucking Expo; like the owner of Greenberg Trucking who loves pin-up art so much that he's adorned his Peterbilt's with some fun custom pin-up girl nose art, and John Silva whose truck was showcased at the Expo and had some beautiful pin-up style girls custom painted to adorn his truck! We were proud to have been one of the exhibitors at this great show and we look forward to showcasing our Pin-Up Style Decals at more Semi Truck Exhibitions!

Big Truck Pin-Up teamed up with Clay White and his 2013 Peterbilt 389, known as “Sweet’n Low,” of Sweet Trucking LLC out of Shandon, California. Paired with a set of our decals, Clay brought his modified Pete out to an old granary on the Central Coast of California for a photo shoot.
“Sweet’n Low” is a dark red 2013 Peterbilt 389 with a 48” flattop, a “moderate” wheel base, Low Low-Air suspension, a car-hauler front axle and several extra modifications. Bringing “Sweet’n Low” out for the photo shoot was a real treat as the nicely modified Peterbilt was the perfect model for our Pin-Up Style Decals. We did three photo sets with this truck featuring the “High Mile Club,” “Special Delivery,” and “Handle with Care.”
Before “Sweet’n Low,” Clay had been running a Peterbilt 387 daycab truck. Looking to move into something more special, Clay connected with Clint Moore of Kansas City Peterbilt. Once they finally got to talking about the truck that Clay wanted, they began to hammer out a custom project that would build a rig with a lot of extreme but subtle modifications. Early on the truck was called “Sweet’n Low” and the name stayed. You can read more about Clay and Clint’s project at 10-4 Magazine.
Born and raised on his family’s barley farm in Shandon, California; Clay was exposed to trucks at an early age as he started hauling his own family’s barley. Working with a driver like Clay and a truck like “Sweet’n Low,” was the perfect pairing for Big Truck Pin-Up, as Clay and his truck stand for the same values as Big Truck Pin-Up...Pride in Craftsmanship.
